"During a recent visit to Jefferson Animal Hospital and Regional Emergency Center, I was seen by Dr. Consuela Reinhart.  I really  appreciate everyhting that Dr. Reinhart did for my pet Milo.   He is still doing much better, able to walk around, still a bit wobbly but we are continuing treatment and I understand the prognosis may not be good.  I had been to another hospital earlier in the day and had limited money.  They didn't offer anything to help and my pet would probably not be alive if not for Dr. Reinhart.  I really appreciate all the staff and doctors of Jefferson Animal Hospitals."

"We want to commend your staff for their professionalism, compassion, and caring.  Early this morning around 1:00 we brought our Golden Retriever, Bodhi, to your hospital with a swollen abdomen and light colored gums.  We were met by Dr. Sayre, Sara and Christina.  They were efficient, caring and incredibly kind.  Everything was explained to us in terms that we could understand.  Bodhi was taken to surgery but unfortunately, Dr. Sayre was unable to save him.  He was full of cancer and we had no idea.  We are so very grateful that your staff was there for our family when we so desperately needed them.  They went above and beyond to save our Bodhi.  Christina was due to go off duty, but she stayed to assist even though she had to report back at 8:00 am.  We cannot say enough about the entire team and their performance.  We believe that if Bodhi had been a client of your clinic, he would be alive today.  We cannot thank all of you enough."

We just recently brought in our dog we had for 14 years to be put down as she was in distress.  I cannot thank the entire staff enough that was there on the evening of Sunday 4-22-12.  Everyone was very compassionate and caring.  They made the final moments so much easier. - Richard Williams

“I just wanted to say thank you for taking care of my cat, Ra, and I. The staff was very compassionate and Dr. Fowler was wonderful. She was so helpful and gentle when she explained what my options were. I have no doubt that we did what was best for Ra. I would never want him to suffer or be in pain and she helped me understand that his best option for avoiding that would be to put him to rest rather than hoping for a recovery that may never come. After saying goodbye to him, I was confident that he would be in good hands and in no pain as he was put to sleep. Ra was my first pet and I never knew how strong a bond between an owner and their pet could be, but he truly was my best friend and the perfect companion. Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him talked about how adorable he was, especially when he would fall to the ground and roll on his back until someone rubbed his tummy. I miss Ra tremendously every single day, but I know he's in a place that's far away from pain and I'm confident I'll see him again one day. I am so thankful for the kindness and compassion that I received from the staff there. It takes a very special person to be able to work in an environment where you have to deal with sad, sick animals every day and the staff there is just perfect for the job they do. Thank you all again for all you have done for me, and especially for the beautiful sympathy card that was sent after laying my Ra to rest. I know that one day when I am ready to welcome another pet into my life there is nowhere else I'd trust for my emergency needs than Jefferson Animal Hospital.”

Dr. Hamby and Dr. Isherwood were exceptional in their care and compassion with not only Reagan, but with my mother. "My baby was very old and sick, he was in a lot of pain and was slowly dying. I called up there at 3am and they told me to come in.
