 Dr. Patricia Kennedy Arrington
Dr. Kennedy and her husband, Rick Arrington, founded Jefferson Animal Hospital in 1978. In 1980, Jefferson Animal Hospital began its 24-hour, 365 days a year availability. Dr. Kennedy is from Montreal, Canada. She graduated with her DVM from Auburn University in 1971. Dr. Kennedy’s practice focus is surgery and client education. She believes that educated clients equal responsible pet owners. In her free time, Dr. Kennedy enjoys reading and gardening.
 Dr. Terri Fowler
Dr. Fowler was born and raised in Martinsville, Indiana. She has been with the Jefferson Animal Hospital since 1980, after graduating with her DVM from Purdue University. Dr. Fowler’s practice focus is Internal Medicine. In her free time, Dr. Fowler enjoys tending her flowers and visiting with her mother in Indiana.
 Dr. Ken Isherwood
Dr. Isherwood has been with the Jefferson Animal Hospital since 1983. He grew up in Akron, Ohio, and he graduated with his DVM from Ohio State University in 1980. Dr. Isherwood’s special interests focus on ultrasonography/echocardiography, endoscopy, and chemotherapy. In his free time, Dr. Isherwood enjoys playing racquetball, canoeing, kayaking, and camping.
 Dr. Sarah Cheever
Dr. Cheever is a 2001 graduate of Iowa State University and has been practicing with Jefferson Animal Hospital since graduation. She and her husband Matt have two daughters. Dr. Cheever has a special interest in emergency medicine, including surgery and internal medicine.
 Dr. Tara McCoy
Dr. McCoy has been with the Jefferson Animal Hospital since 1998. A native of HiHat, Kentucky, Dr. McCoy graduated with her DVM from Auburn University in 1998. Surgery is Dr. McCoy's area of special interest. Dr. McCoy spends much of her free time doing surgery for Spay- Neuter clinics and the Woodstock Foundation. She also enjoys spending time with her children and her horses.
 Dr. Linda Sayre
Dr. Sayre has been with the Jefferson Animal Hospital since 2004. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana; however, she has lived in Colorado, Louisiana, Oregon, and Germany. After spending time as an EMT and Vet Tech in the US Army Medical Corps, she received her DVM from Colorado State University in 1983. Nutraceuticals and holistic medicine are Dr. Sayre's special interests. In her free time, she enjoys working on her house and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Krista LeGrand
Dr. LeGrand is a 2005 graduate of the University of Missouri, and she joined our team after a year of practicing veterinary medicine in Missouri. Dr. LeGrand is married with one child; She and her husband, Ryan, moved to Louisville in 2006 for Ryan to begin a general surgery residency at the university of Louisville. Dr. LeGrand has a special interest in dentistry and internal medicine, and she is a valuable member of our team. In her free time, she enjoys working in the yard and cooking.
 Dr. Megan Hoelter
Dr. Hoelter joined the Jefferson Animal Hospital in 2007. Her special interests are internal medicine and conditions of the skin. Dr. Hoelter grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Ohio State University with her DVM in 1996. Dr. Hoelter enjoys camping, reading, swimming, and gardening during her free time.
 Dr. Consuela Reinhart
Dr. Reinhart joined the Jefferson Animal Hospital in 2007. She was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated with her DVM from Oklahoma State University in 1994. Dr. Reinhart especially enjoys the surgical and client education aspects of veterinary medicine. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, camping, kayaking, and reading.
Dr. Lisa Martin
Dr. Martin joined the Jefferson Animal Hospital in April 2008. She has a special interest in chiropractic care and treatment. Dr. Martin is from Knoxville, TN and she graduated with her DVM from the University of Missouri in 2006. In her free time, Dr. Martin enjoys horseback riding and gardening.
 Dr. Katie Nau
Dr. Nau joined us in May of 2008. Dr. Nau was raised in St. Louis, and she graduated from the University of Missouri. Internal medicine, dermatology, and preventive care are her favorite areas of veterinary medicine. In her free time, Dr. Nau enjoys hiking, walking, gardening, reading and cooking.
